National Aboriginal Day Celebrations
Confederation Landing Park, Charlottetown PEI

June 21st, 11:30am to 3:00pm

June 21 is National Aboriginal Day (NAD), a day for all Canadians to recognize and celebrate the unique heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. The Canadian Constitution recognizes these three groups as Aboriginal peoples.

The celebration will begin with an opening ceremony at 11:30 am at the Confederation Landing Park, with free hotdogs and cake for lunch. At 1:00 pm, attendees are invited to participate in friendly competitions through our Indian Summer Games. Traditional crafters and craft demonstrations will be onsite showcasing their talents. All activities are free and open to the public.
