Almost nowhere in Charlottetown seems far from the sea. Walk down any street, peek around a few corners, and you will most likely catch a glimpse of the sun sparkling on the water. Make your way to Charlottetown’s historic waterfront to dine on seafood, shop for souvenirs, eat homemade ice cream or take a harbour cruise. Visitors and Islanders alike experience the tranquility of taking a cruise on a lobster boat, catching your dinner and dining on the open waters.
This summer the Tall Ships will be in port during Founder’s Week. From August 28to 31st, these sailing giants will cover our skyline in celebration of the week that the Fathers of Confederation met on our shores.
