Atlantic Canada’s largest cultural festival, Charlottetown’s DiverseCity Multicultural Street Festival is a not-to-be-missed celebration of the many cultures and ethnicities that make up the Island community. It’s filled with positive energy, plenty of family-friendly activities and it’s FREE to enter.
Taking place on Sunday, June 23rd in the heart of downtown Charlottetown, DiverseCity takes over two blocks of Queen Street for eight hours filled with festivities. Highlights of this annual event include loads of delicious international cuisine, beautiful handcrafts for purchase, cultural information displays, children’s games and activities, cultural performances (dancing, martial arts, etc.) and live entertainment on the mainstage. This year’s DiverseCity will showcase the cultural talents of over 50 ethnocultural groups in PEI, including newcomer and long-established cultural communities!
