Live and Local at the Confederation Centre: Gordie Sampson featuring Port Cities. November 14 (7:30pm) at the Confederation Centre of the Arts Homburg Theatre.

Gordie, a critically acclaimed songwriter has written songs for Carrie Underwood (Jesus Take the Wheel), Keith Urban, Faith Hill and Blake Shelton to name a few. Gordie is not a stranger to the Island, hosting the Songwriters Circle at the Cavendish Beach Music Festival for the last number of years. Port Cities, participants in the annual Gordie Sampson Songcamp in Cape Breton and Allan Slaight JUNO Master Class winners consists of Halifax-based songwriters, Dylan Guthro and Carleton Stone. Their unique style has helped them top the Canadian charts over the past three years.
