Orwell Corner Historic Village is a living history museum 25 minutes east of Charlottetown. The crossroads community features a very active farm where traditional animals are raised and crops grown. There is also a working blacksmith shop, wood working shop as well as a general store, one room school house and 1861 Presbyterian church. We do everything in the same manner as it was done in rural PEI in 1895.

There are a range of programs available including our nine three-hour experiences and three single hour experiences. Learn to blacksmith, work with the horses, bake and enjoy your own bread and take part in a variety of Celtic, Mi’kmaq and Acadian activities to learn how these cultural groups interacted in late Victorian PEI. We are introducing a new experience based on the life and writings of Island author LM Montgomery!
