Scarecrows in the City Frequently Asked Questions:

We want your Scarecrows in the City experience to be as safe and smooth as possible. Please review the following frequently asked questions and get ready to have a whole lot of FUN!

1. Are the events COVID-friendly? 

Yes! Cleaning protocols and public health operational plans will be in place by all partnering businesses & organizations. And of course, remember to social distance when you are exploring the city and checking out the scarecrows.

2. Do I need to wear a mask?

As per our latest PEI government Public Health & Safety protocols, we encourage you to wear a mask indoors, especially where physical distancing is difficult. Of course, always practice physical distancing and wash/sanitize your hands as often as possible.

3. How do I find the self-guided scarecrow walking map?

Good question! You can download the scarecrow map HERE and print it off at home!

4. Do I need to pay to participate in the self-guided scarecrow walk?

Nope! That tour is completely free. We encourage you to roam around the city at your leisure and see all the unique and fun installations.

5. How do I know what events to attend?

Please check out our schedule of events and book your tickets/reservations, etc. directly with the individual business or organization in charge of that specific event. Links are all included in the event descriptions. Find the schedule HERE.

6. What events are free? 

The self-guided walking tour, Eckhart in the City Scavenger Hunt, the Downtown Charlottetown Farmers Market and Live Music on Victoria row.

7. How do I pay for an event I want to attend?

Please review the details of each event and contact the individual business or organization directly to reserve or book your tickets. While walk-ins are welcome at many events and restaurants, we encourage you to reserve your space in advance to avoid disappointment.

8. What happens if I can’t make it to my reservation or paid event? 

Please contact the event provider directly. Discover Charlottetown is not directly in charge of these third-party events.
