Celebrate

In winter, Polar Pride Fest (March 12-15) offers live performances and community events honouring inclusion. Summer brings the Pride Festival (July 24-Aug 2), ten day packed with music, parades, parties, and celebrations across the Island. March alongside the community in the Pride Parade (July 25) or dance the night away at the Rainbow Road street party (August 1). Whenever you go, the energy is contagious, and the welcome is heartfelt.

Say ‘I Do’

Charlottetown is a destination for love and celebration. On July 20, 2005, Canada became the first country outside Europe at the time to legalize same-sex marriage nationwide. Since then, countless 2SLGBTQIA+ couples have chosen PEI for their weddings, drawn by the Island’s romance, charm, and scenic beauty.
