9am – 11:30am | Triathlon PEI presents: Victoria Park Kids of Steel Triathlon
Triathlon PEI will be hosting a children’s triathlon in Victoria Park. This activity is part of Triathlon Canada’s Kids of Steel program, which is designed to offer youth the opportunity to experience the sport of triathlon in a positive environment with shorter distances than an adult triathlon. Registration and a fee to participate in the triathlon is required. More information here.
11am | 21 Gun Salute
The PEI Regiment will mark Canada Day with a 21 Gun Salute at the Victoria Park Cannons.
12pm to 7pm | Family Fun Zone
Visit the family fun zone and celebrate Canada with kid-friendly games, inflatables, activations and festive giveaways throughout the day (while supplies last).
1pm | Official Opening Ceremony
Join us for the Official Opening Ceremony to help kick off our Canada Day celebrations.
1:30pm – 10pm | Coastal Vibes: All-Day Musical Celebration
An afternoon and evening filled with talented and diverse musicians. Headlined by Tragically Hip tribute band, The Fabulously Rich, and powerhouse R&B singer-songwriter, Reeny Smith, and featuring a total of nine maritime bands/musicians performing live at the Cultural Pavilion in Victoria Park. Enjoy music from Fabulously Rich, Reeny Smith, Noah Malcolm, Obembe, Sirène et Matelot, Meaghan Blanchard, The Darvel, Nadia and Island A Capella & Pacific Edge Chorus. Also taking place during Coastal Vibes is the new series ‘Understanding our Past, Reconciling our Future: Fireside Chats with Sean Doke’, featuring conversational interviews with two local leaders in the Mi’kmaq community.

A brilliant display of lights and colours launched from the boardwalk in Victoria Park behind the Prince Edward Battery (the cannons).
