Charlottetown Scarecrow Festival | October 2023

Taking place all October long, the largest scarecrow festival in Atlantic Canada will take over Prince Edward Island’s seaside city. Set against the backdrop of Charlottetown’s colourful and historic buildings, hundreds of scarecrow installations will line the streets, gather on street corners, pop up in shop windows, and surprise you in other unexpected ways.

The Charlottetown Scarecrow Festival triumphantly returns again this fall just in time to bring moments of wonder and festive fun back to the downtown core. Anyone who attended before knows how fantastical the city felt with over 800 scarecrows.

Beyond the self-guided scarecrow tours, you can also look forward to horse & wagon rides, haunted ghost tours, family fun, festive pop-up events, extra fall decor, and more!
