The Charlottetown Fire Tour

July 2 – August 28| Sundays & Tuesdays 1:30 p.m. | Fridays 3:00 p.m. | English

In a city once known for its ugly wooden buildings, Charlottetown has certainly gone through a tremendous change since its early beginnings, and fire perhaps had the biggest hand in it. Join the old Fire Warden on a walk-through historic Charlottetown and learn what the city used to be like before the many fires reshaped it into the place we now know. On an Island with no stone and plenty of wood, fires were of great concern. This tour will cover many stories of the destructive element, surprising arsonists, and the heroes who saved the town time and time again.
