2025 Weekend Schedule of Events

THURS, JULY 31
Citizen Recognition and Make Our Hometown Beautiful Awards – this is a closed event for honorees

FRI, AUG 1
6pm: Group Bike Ride led by Bike Friendly Communities where participants will be treated to a free ice cream at the end of the ride. Open to all ages and cycling abilities, helmets are required. More details to come!
7pm: In Harmony: Island Voices & Orchestral Sounds – featuring performances from members of the PEI Symphony Orchestra, plus Noah Malcolm, Lawrence Maxwell, Kinley Dowling and Tiffany Liu at Confederation Landing

SAT, AUG 2
8:30am – 10am: Natal Day Pancake Breakfast with Mayor Brown, City Council, and entertainment by Adam MacGregor and The Foes in Rochford Square
6:30pm – 9:30pm: Simmons Pool Glow Party and BBQ with music from a live DJ

SUN, AUG 3
9am – 10am: Island Tides Yoga & Wellness Festival presents Rise and Grind: Café Yoga at the Victoria Park Cultural Pavilion. Enjoy an energizing outdoor yoga class led by Erika Killam in Victoria Park, followed by delicious complimentary coffee.
1pm – 4pm: Charlie Town’s Birthday Party at Founders’ Food Hall & Market Green Space – activities will include bounce houses, mini putt, face painting, balloon twisting and more! Free hotdogs, cupcakes and ice cream sandwiches while quantities last.
3pm – 5pm: Mayor & Council’s Older Adults Social at Jack Blanchard Hall

ALL WEEKEND
Chalk Art – vibrant chalk art installations will be featured at several locations across Charlottetown, including Rochford Square, Connaught Square, Kings Square, Hillsborough Square, Founders’ Food Hall and Market, Victoria Row, Confederation Landing Park, and Charlottetown City Hall.
