It’s game on at the PEI International Shellfish Festival, where talented chefs and extraordinary oyster shuckers from across Canada and beyond vy to win over $24,000 in culinary competitions showcasing the Island’s renowned shellfish. Be sure you catch the brand new BMO Great Junior Chef Challenge hosted by Chef Michael Smith and the always-intense Garland Canada International Chef Challenge. Treat yourself at the Festival’s food pavilion, where shellfish reigns supreme and then take in culinary demonstrations hosted by Chef Lynn Crawford on Friday and Saturday, with Chef Michael on deck for Sunday’s demos.
When day turns to night, the heat turns up under the Festival’s giant tent as high-octane party vibes replace the day’s intense culinary focus and the tent fills up with folks ready to hit the dance floor. Headlining the live music line-up, Signal Hill and the Big Bad Party Band will have you singing along and dancing all night with friends, old and new.
