1) Capital New Year
Presented by the City of Charlottetown and Founders’ Food Hall & Market
Dec 31st: 4-8pm
Capital New Year closes out the Charlottetown Christmas Festival and is THE New Year’s Eve event you won’t want to miss. Gather your family down at Founders’ Food Hall & Market for a jam-packed schedule of children’s activities, fireworks, live performances, complimentary food & drinks, and MORE.
2) After Hours Band at Trailside
Dec 31st | Early show: 7:15pm – 9:15pm & Late Show: 10:45pm – 1am
Get ready to rock into 2026 with this After Hours band hosting two shows in one night! They deliver a high-energy mix of 80s and 90s rock and pop hits from legends like Van Halen, Journey, Def Leppard, Loverboy, ZZ Top, and The Cult. Known for their creative mash-ups and signature sound, After Hours promises a night of singing, dancing, and unforgettable vibes. Don’t miss your chance to party with this Island favourite!
3) NYE at Red Shores
Dec 31st: 6pm – 2am
The place to be on NYE! Enjoy live racing, a DJ on the casino floor, spin to win, a big countdown and MORE at Red Shores Casino! NO cover!
4) DJ Dance Party at Cork & Cast
Dec 31st: 8-11pm
Head down to Cork & Cast for an early evening dance party w/ DJ Wolfe! Sip on festive cocktails, enjoy a special NYE three-course menu, and welcome the new year surrounded by the buzz of Victoria Row.
5) New Year’s Eve at Ada
Dec 31st: 5:30 & 8pm
Enjoy a night of great company, creative food, and of course, a surprise or two to celebrate the turning of the calendar! Reservations required by tables of 4.
6) The Soosh at Hunters Ale House
Dec 31st: 10:30pm – close
Join the retro-funk crew The Soosh as they take the stage at Hunter’s Ale House for a high-energy celebration to ring in 2026. Expect big grooves, bold horn riffs, and a party vibe you won’t forget
7) Family Noon Year Drop at Charlottetown Library Learning Centre
Dec 31st: 11:30am – 12:30pm
Head down to the Charlottetown Library for a story, dance party, and New Year’s balloon drop! Fun for all!
8) Oracle Card Readings by Jenn at Marc’s Lounge
Dec 31st: 7-10pm
Ring in the New Year with insight and intention! Join us at Marc’s Lounge for Predict the New with Jen. From 7-10pm, Jenn will be offering readings to Marc’s Lounge guests. Sip, relax, and see what the new year has in store.
9) DJ Night at Baba’s Lounge
Dec 31st: 10pm – close
Ring in the new year on the Baba’s Lounge dance floor with DJ Novah, Mikey, Mack, Mojo, & Purdy!
10) Bubbles & Beats NYE Party at PonyBoat
Dec 31st: 10pm – 2am
Dress in your sparkles, sip champagne, and dance into the New Year as DJ Mando and DJ Gufaah keep the beats flowing all night long at PonyBoat Social Club!
New Year’s Day Levees in Charlottetown

Levee Day in Charlottetown is a long-standing tradition on January 1st where various government offices, businesses, and community groups host open houses to welcome the new year.
