Each summer, the Centre presents The Charlottetown Festival – the largest musical theatre festival in Atlantic Canada since 1965. The Festival is dedicated to creating new Canadian works and bolstering our nation’s vibrant musical theatre scene. Featuring the finest performers, designers, writers, and musicians, the professional theatre celebrates Canadian stories by exploring our origins, ideals, and ongoing evolution.
Jun 25 – Sept 5 | Anne of Green Gables – The Musical™, This cherished family musical tells the poignant and funny story of a freckle-faced, red-haired orphan named Anne Shirley who arrives at the Bright River Railway Station full of hope for a new life.
July 2- Sept 25 | Come From Away, based on the true story of a small town that welcomed the world.
June 6 – Aug 29 | C’mon In! A lively Maritime kitchen, where the party’s already started, the stories get bigger as the night goes on, and the music keeps everyone around the table just a little longer.
