37 Pownal Street was built as a post and beam warehouse in 1860. It survived the Great Fire of Charlottetown in 1866 which began directly across the street. It is now the art studio of Christopher Griffin, a practicing artist for 35 years in Toronto, Ottawa and now Charlottetown. By chance or appointment, come and see his latest work, and keep your eyes peeled for elephants!
