Various Locations Charlottetown PEI, PE

As one of 10 host cities, the City of Charlottetown and Discover Charlottetown are pleased to represent Prince Edward Island and welcome Winterlude’s 2022 National Ice Carving Championship to Charlottetown. The local extension of the annual event beyond the nation’s capital is an opportunity made possible by Canadian Heritage.

Ice sculptures are the stars of the annual Winterlude festival that takes place in Ottawa each year, and on Saturday, February 5 and Sunday, February 6, 2022, PEI’s local ice sculpting team, Patrick Brunet and Kelly Caseley, will have 20 hours to sculpt 15 blocks of ice and to create a work of art inspired by the theme “Olympic and Paralympic spirit,” a nod to the 2022 Winter Games.

DAILY VOTING takes place online February 11 – 20, 2022 to determine the top 3 winners. This is your chance to show your community support!!
