Get ready for Tales from Island Boy Public Journal! Coming to The Guild is Justin Shaw’s latest one-person comedy: The 70 Mile Yard Sale!
Inspired by Prince Edward Island’s 70 Mile Coastal Yard Sale, Shaw will be presenting a progress showing of his latest work on Saturday, July 30 and Sunday, August 7. In a story about a madcap journey across the Island to retrieve a lost family heirloom, Shaw shares a story that is equal parts funny and heartfelt about finding more than what you bargained for.

Shaw is a comedian and storyteller originally from Prince Edward Island, presently based in Hamilton, Ontario. His previous solo shows Midnight Baby and the award-winning The Wrestling Play have been presented in theatres and festivals across Canada. His writing can be found in Maritime EDIT, RED: The Island Storybook, as well as his story-blog Island Boy Public Journal. He is best known to Island audiences for his work in Culture Shock with Lorne Elliott, Salt-Water Moon, and Popalopalots Live Improv Comedy.
